<\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\nPost hike I went back to the comfort station for a well deserved shower. After greeting my new friends in their office I completed the shower. Back to van to pack up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We filled up the water tank at a different campsite as the other tap is right next to the dump station. And that\u2019s too close for comfort! Next stop dump station. It was nice to not have a line of RV\u2019s behind us. We took our time got all the tanks back to the preferred state and did not cause any mess. The streak continues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We had some ideas for where to stay tonight but no firm plans. We stopped for some Lobster in Nigadoo, NB and then pulled into a beach parking lot in Beresford, NB just shy of Bathurst, NB for lunch (not the lobster, that\u2019s dinner). Up to this point we had travelled the coast roads rather than the main highway. It was lovely, but post lunch we decided to pick up the pace to give us more options. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our next stop was in Bouctouche, NB to take on some fuel, decide where we would stop for the night and, of course, stop at Guy\u2019s Frenchys. We only had time for a petite amuse bouche of shopping as we had decided to extend our drive today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Originally we had planned to stop somewhere between Miramichi, NB and Bouctouche, NB. But once we got to Bouctouche, we decided that we may as well do the next 130 or so km and get to the spot we would be at for the next bunch of days. And here we are. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Northport, NS moochdocking at Oceanside. For those that don\u2019t know, moochdocking is when you rely on the kindness of others for a place to park your camper. In this case we have water, electricity and even a dump station. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We arrived a bit too late for decent pictures of the ocean. We did get set up, the lobster was consumed and Amy got to run around without her leash. Great success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Tomorrow we will head into town to provision, even if that means more time at Guy\u2019s Frenchys. Whomare we kidding, of course it will!<\/p>\n\n\n\n One challenge I have is that I need to get out for a bike ride. For health, happiness and Zwift streak reasons! I brought my brompton on this trip but the roads here are barely friendly to cars, let alone special little fellows on their special little bicycles. I shall figure something out. Stay tuned to my Strava to see what solution I come up with. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Apologies for the lack of pictures today. The coastal scenery was beautiful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We are far too many days without a decent baguette.
