A lovely chilly, but not too chilly start to the day. We woke up at a reasonable hour and I got up and did my morning walk down to the wharf. No fishing happening there anymore, but it\u2019s a nice spot to go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today was to be about property maintenance. I started by cutting the lawn. It\u2019s 6 acres so I only did about 33%. Once that was done I had to scratch that itch and get out on my Brompton for a ride. I did the local road loop then rode to the wharf. Obviously I then came back to base camp. I was passed politely by a few cars. I still enjoy the comfort that my Garmin radar gives me when cycling. It was windy as heck and going into the wind at decent speed when sitting Brompton upright required some extra heartbeats. It was a nice shortish ride. The GPS said my minimum elevation was -7m. Added bonus I have kept my Zwift streak alive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Post lunch we got to some heavier gardening tasks as we set about removing an unwanted cedar hedge. We are pretty sure we removed the correct one. If not, oops. This feat was accomplished by we Milddogs and Mrs Milddogs sister (MMS). I was busy and forgot to take before and after pictures. I guess the good news is we did not have to decide on afternoon plans as we spent all afternoon on this task!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tonight\u2019s dinner consisted of, yup, you guessed it, Lobster. This time, super fresh as our brother in law (BIL) caught them today (don\u2019t worry, all legal) so these lobster were straight off the boat. Kind BIL set about cooking and preparing them for consumption. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Full disclosure, I don\u2019t really appreciate lobster as much as others do, so I had a prefab burger. Save the good stuff for the people that love it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because of the strong cold wind we decided to not venture out onto the sand at low tide. Tomorrow is forecast to be less blustery so hopefully some beach time. And maybe an old favorite for dinner? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nice to not have to drive anywhere today, unless you count driving the riding lawn mower. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
