May 4, 2019<\/p>\n

We made it! \u00a0Drive, Uber, train, train, Uber and then we were at the boat.<\/p>\n

Good news, the docks now have power and water so we are juicing up and we added some water to the tanks.<\/p>\n

Today was about getting the boat ready. We did a bunch of \u00a0stuff. Most importantly we added the reffing lines to the mainsail. This turned out to be a critical step for a number of reasons.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. We got to coordinate raising the main<\/li>\n
  2. one of the cars was backwards and was binding<\/li>\n
  3. there was only one of the reefing lines in place and it was wrong<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Fortunately we had almost no wind at the marina so we were able to do this docked rather than out on the lake.<\/p>\n

    Tomorrow we are on the move. \u00a0Motor or sail to Bluffers Park<\/p>\n

    I don\u2019t ever want to go to Whole Foods again. I hope we have enough food.<\/p>\n

    Me: \u201cDo you have any normal whole wheat bread\u201d<\/p>\n

    Kid that works there: \u201cThis is our bread section\u201d<\/p>\n

    So, I hope I got edible bread \u00a0no Norwegians were harmed in making the bread. Not sure about the Glutens<\/p>\n
